Our Client, organized as an S-Corporation, is a family-owned and operated logistics company providing warehousing and transportation services. The primary activity is warehousing (81% of the 2006 revenue) and the Company operates its own transportation division as well as offering a number of value-added services. The Company’s recent status as a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) enables the Company to grow revenue by providing numerous cost effective benefits to import/export customers. The corporate philosophy of providing superior service has proven to be the driving force behind the Company’s success. Manufacturers, wholesalers and distribution centers make up the primary portion of the customer base. Recent year sales have been driven by companies utilizing manufacturing/distribution services within the AK-LA-TX area and by companies manufacturing for national/international distribution. Although historical advertising has been limited to personal networking and word-of-mouth, sales growth has been consistent over the past few years. Current management focus is on developing a more diverse customer base through new accounts while continuing to provide quality services to regular customers, at the same time becoming a one-stop shop through facility and rail operation expansion.
